Culture

Because learning French also means discovering French culture, each month we offer you the opportunity to take part in various cultural, tourist and sporting activities to discover Bordeaux and the local culture. Essential for a complete immersion !

  • All our activities are provided or accompanied by a French-speaking facilitator.
  • The activities are reserved for students following our French courses.
  • Registration required at the cultural service of the Alliance Française.

Guided tour of Bordeaux

Monday, March 31st
3:00 – 5:00 pm.

Visit downtown Bordeaux accompanied by our volunteer guide Jean-Marie, who will share with you explanations of the city’s history and architecture.

Cheese tasting

Tuesday, April 1st
3:00 – 5:00 pm.

Enjoy a tasting of several French cheeses with a glass of wine, accompanied by explanations from the cheesemaker on the origins of the cheeses tasted.

French Apéro
