For over 15 years, the Alliance Française de Bordeaux has been offering training courses for teachers of French as a Foreign Language. It has been awarded the “Qualité français langue étrangère” label by the French government, with a maximum rating of three stars. Several times a year, the Alliance Française Bordeaux Nouvelle-Aquitaine offers educational courses on site in the heart of Bordeaux.
The basic FFL teacher training course lasts 27 hours, from Monday to Friday. Here are the different modules covered during the week:
- Didactic Unit
- Information and communication technologies for education
- Creating CEs and COs from authentic documents
- Understanding methodology
- From concept to production
- Oral French
- Class observation and review
In summer, the course is completed with an additional week (optional). It offers 4 complementary modules for a total of 45 hours of training:
- Discover Bordeaux through educational activities
- Update your knowledge of modern-day France
- Oral French, Encouraging people to speak: presentation techniques for oral expression
- 2 class observations
