Improve your French with theater exercises Our theater workshop is an original and fun way to practice and improve your French, not only in oral expression but also in physical expression. Discover the French language in a different way, and perfect your elocution through exercises based on the art of “saying it right”, the study of voice mechanisms and word gymnastics. Body-Voice-Space Workshop This theater workshop is led by Jean-Pierre Terracol, professional actor and founder of the L'Oeil theater company. In particular, he uses the Gravollet method, which works on the mechanisms of oral expression and declamation. Every second and third Tuesday of the session, you'll be able to practice with him various exercises in self-presentation, articulation, breathing, voice pose and body language. After introducing themselves individually, students will perform simple theatrical exercises such as mutual observation and movement in space. The animator then integrates the voice by imposing sudden expressions. Finally, there will be pronunciation exercises and readings of theater texts. The group will do other theatrical exercises where more expressions and intentions, both vocal and physical, will be imposed (from laughter to sobbing, for example). The students and presenter will take time to analyze each other's games so that they can improve. Motivated students enrolled for the long term can also prepare a short theatrical show featuring humorous sketches.
